About Us
Crafting Adventure.
We're a Denver-based van build shop that believes your rig should work exactly as hard as you do: on the road, off the grid, and everywhere in between.
Why We Build
Colorado is our test lab.
We're surrounded by the exact terrain our vans get built for: washboard forest roads, 14,000-foot passes, and winters that don't forgive weak insulation. That's the standard every build gets held to, whether it's headed to the Rockies or somewhere else entirely.
We keep the shop small and the builds custom on purpose. Every layout starts as a real conversation about how you travel, not a catalog page, and every van leaves the shop having been built, tested, and walked through by the same people who built it.

Meet the Co-Founders
The people behind the build.

Carson Sylvester
Co-Founder
Carson started Colorado Van Co. to build the kind of rig he couldn't find on the market: handcrafted, off-grid ready, and made for real Colorado terrain.

Wil Hunter
Co-Founder
Wil brings a meticulous eye for detail and design, pairing contrasting colors and finishes that bring out the natural beauty of the grain and materials in every build.
What We Value
How we build.
Built to Be Used
No showroom builds. Every layout is designed to hold up to real gear, real dirt, and real weather.
Made In-House
Cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, and finish work, all done under one roof by the same team.
Honest Pricing
Itemized quotes, no surprise line items, and a clear scope before we ever start cutting material.
Colorado Built
Designed and tested against the terrain and climate right outside our shop doors.
A good van build doesn't just look right in photos. It has to work at 11,000 feet in a snowstorm, too.
